Some actually are leather and microfiber together, usually in the form of leather arms or a leather base with microfiber cushions. Others are a select few sofas that are available in either microfiber or leather upholstery. This is actually more common with sectionals, but there are a few sofas we've found that fit this description quite well.

Microfibers are very fine fibers that are, in fact, finer than silk. Microfibers, when packed together tightly, give a great deal of body and depth to the fabrics from which their made. Microfiber fabrics drape very well, are light, and very fine, although not flimsy.
So why would microfiber be a good thing for furniture?
- Shape - microfibers hold their shape very well, which is good for a sofa, especially the cushions which tend to stretch out over time
- Durability - in relation to fabrics of the same weight, microfiber fabrics tend to be more durable
