A Photo Coffee Table Book Can Start a Great Conversation

Take our coffee table, for example. We have a photo coffee table book about New York City on it. It's fun for us to look through the pictures and say, "Hey we were there!" Looking through those pictures brings back a lot of memories of our honeymoon.

That's just one use for photo coffee table books...fondly remembering somewhere you've been.

How about a book about a particular subject, like flowers? Flora Photographica is a fine book with more than 180 photographs of flowers in many different forms.

Another suggestion for a coffee table book on a particular subject would be Public & Private: Twenty Years of Photographing the Presidency by Diana Walker. Diana is an acclaimed Time magazine photographer with access to the President of the United States for over 20 years.

A final idea would be a book that tells a story, like Stranger in the Woods about how animals react when a snowman appears in their woods. This book is by Carl R. II Sams, with photography by Jean Stoick and does a great job of appealing to nature lovers and children, alike.
