Travel In Comfort

Here's how we incorporated our extensive travels into our living room design.

We have been fortunate to be able to travel to different countries for over twenty years. During those trips, which were mostly pleasure, we were always on the hunt for unusual items. Many times we bought something and when we returned home had no place to display it.

Two years ago we built a new home and decided that the living room would not only be comfortable for us and company, but would be a travel log of our trips. We put various items "on display" such as wood carvings, art objects and several small items that just interested us. We also have small photo albums of the places we found those items. It seems to always be a conversation strting point for company. We try to change the items about three times a year.

We enjoy our living room and we hope our company also enjoys it.
