History of Vizio
Want another reason to by a Vizio? How about their story? Vizio was founded by William Wang, a Taiwanese immigrant who used the lessons from earlier failures to create one of the fastest growing and most successful sellers of flat panel LCD televisions in North America.
In 2000, Wang escaped certain death when the Singapore Airlines plane he was a passenger aboard crashed just after takeoff from Taiwan. This experience and the wisdom he'd gained from two other business failures inspired him to found Vizio.
