Living room color dilemma - tan, chocolate, and mauve by: Todd and Jen
Let's be honest. Mauve does not generally come to a mind as a complementary color for tan and chocolate. That being said, the fun part of decorating is often making the best use of what you have to work with.
There are some nice colors which combine the rosiness of a mauve with the deep richness of brown to create something the embodies both and looks a little purplish at the same time.
